Manuscript Now Out of My Hands

The above title is not really true. I don’t think. But the manuscript for Tales of Lost Southtown is certainly (for the moment) out of my mind. For the last three months I have been gnawing on the damn thing. Cleaning up typos, questionable grammar, ferreting out discontinuity issues, trying not to embarrass myself with incorrect phrases in other languages, and generally giving the novel a final polish. Then off it went to the publisher. How much in the way of resources they have to catch all the stuff that might have slipped me by, that I don’t know.

With my hands and mind free of all things Southtown, I now find myself struggling with crafting a winning query letter in hopes of finding a literary agent for my latest complete novel. The provisional title being: Marooned at the Cloudland Palace.
